This issue is not with Theme ,Its cause of WordPress 5.0 Version works with Front End Editor only with Visual Composer. To get Full Functionality Please Install this Plugin.

Download & Install this : https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-editor/

After Installing Visual Composer will work Backend editor & Front End Editor both.
